Hazard :- Any source or situation with a potential for harm in terms of injury,damage to property,damage to w-ork place environment or cobination of these.It is hazard .

Risk:- Combination of likelihood and it's consequences of a specific hazardous e-vent occurring .

Incident:- Event that gave rise to an acc-dent or have the pitential to lead an ac-cident.The term incident includes."near miss.

Accident:- Undesired event giving rise death ,I'll healthy,injury damage or oth-er loss.

Safety:- Freedom from unacceptable ri-sk of harm.Safety is derived from the Latin word "SALVUS" meaning uninjured and healthy.It is defined as the state of being safe e.g.unhurt,uninjured,having escaped from real or apprehended danger.

 1. S.Sorting. Sort out unnecessary item   in work palace.Discard them.
 (Seiri)How to do ?
 Look around your work area and risk   yourself "is it   really necessary for all   item to be there".Separate Ok   items.reworkable and rejected   items.And disposethe reject items.

 2. S. Systematics. Arrange necessary
      (Seiton) items in good order so that   the can be easily picked for use.A   place  for every thing and everything   in its palace.
 Clearly identify the item by proper   labelling .Items must be placed in   prefixed location with easy access and   easy picking.

 3. S. Shining. Clean the workplace     completely so that there is no dust on   floor. and machine etc.
 (Seiso) Ensuring work place and   machines are cleaned properly.

 4. S. Standard Maintan high standard         (Seketsu) of housekeeping and work   place at all   time.

 5.S. Self descipline. Train people to               (Shitsuke) follow good housekeeping   discipline autonomously.
